Quran as Cure ...Good Things To Know for Muslims.

Three important and beneficial things:

1) Hazrat Muhammad s.a.w.(PBUH) says that 'if a person recite ' Ayatal Kursi' after every Farz Namaz then there will be nothing between him and Heaven except Death'

2) There is a Hadith that says 'La Haula Wala Quuata illa billahilaliyul azeem' is such a great medicine that it cures every disease and the most minor disease it cures is 'Sorrow' (Gham).

3) Another Hadith says 'if a person recite surah ikhlaas (QUL huwallahuahad... ) 10 times in a day then Allah build a palace for him in the Heaven.(Subhaan Allah)'

How simple it is to get such lavish rewards! MashAllah!

What if Allah...

What if Allah couldn't take the time to bless us today because we couldn't take the time to thank Him yesterday?

What if Allah decided to stop leading us tomorrow because we didn't follow Him today?

What if we never saw another flower bloom because we grumbled when Allah sent the Rain?

What if Allah didn't walk with us today because we failed to recognize it as His day?

What if, Allah took away the Quraan tomorrow because we would not recite it today?

What if, Allah took away His message because we failed to listen to the messenger?

THINK ABOUT THIS ONE.........
What if, the door of the Quraan was closed because we did not open the door of our heart?

What if, Allah stopped loving and caring for us because we failed to love and care for others?

What if, Allah would not hear us today because we would not listen to Him?

What if, Allah answered our prayers the way we answer His call to Salaah?

What if, Allah met our needs the way we give Him our lives?

Alhamdulilah, Allah is all Merciful, Kind, Forgiving, Powerful and many more. He has given us everything, why don't we stop complaining and use that time and energy to do more useful things such as Thanking Allah and worshipping Him and following His commands, because at the end of they day, Allah is the one who has given us life and all thats in it, and we must try our best to do good! InshAllah!

9 things people do that are annoying! (very funny)

This is really funny..we all do it without realizing..human nature I guess!!!

1. People who point at their wrist while asking for the time.... I know where my watch is pal, where the heck is yours? Do I point at my crotch when I ask where the toilet is?

2 People who are willing to get off their butt to search the entire room for the T.V. remote because they refuse to walk to the T.V. and change the channel manually.

3 When people say 'Oh you just want to have your cake and eat it too'. You got that right buddie! What good is cake if you can't eat it?

4 When people say 'it's always the last place you look'. Of course it is. Why the heck would you keep looking after you've found it? Do people do this?

5 When people say while watching a film 'did you see that?'. No Loser, I paid $12 to come to the cinema and stare at the stupid floor.

6 People who ask 'Can I ask you a question?'.... Didn't really give me a choice there, did ya sunshine?

7. When something is 'new and improved!' Which is it? If it's new, then there has never been anything before it. If it's an improvement, then there must have been something before it, couldn't be new.

8 When people say 'life is short'. What the heck?? Life is the longest thing anyone ever does!! What can you do that's longer?

9 When you are waiting for the bus and someone asks 'Has the bus come yet?'. If the bus came, would I still be standing here?

Hahahaha very funny! Hope everyone had a good laugh!

For we walk by faith, not by sight

Do you know the legend of the Cherokee Indian youth's rite of Passage?

His father takes him into the forest, blindfolds him and leaves him alone. He is required to sit on a stump the whole night and not remove the blindfold until the rays of the morning sun shine through it. He cannot cry out for help to anyone. Once he survives the night, he is a MAN.He cannot tell the other boys of this experience, because each lad must come into manhood on his own. The boy is naturally terrified. He can hear all kinds of noises. Wild beasts must surely be all around him. The wind blew the grass and earth, and shook his stump, but he sat stoically, never removing the blindfold.

It would be the only way he could become a man! Finally, after a horrific night the sun appeared and he removed his blindfold. It was then that he discovered his father sitting on the stump next to him. He had been at watch the entire night, protecting his son from harm. We, too, are never alone. Even when we don't know it, Allah is watching over us, sitting on the stump beside us. When trouble comes, all we have to do is reach out to Him.

Moral of the story: Just because you can't see Allah, doesn't mean He is not there. 'For we walk by faith, not by sight.'

Funny isn't it?

Funny isn't it?? (Click image to enlarge)

Quite true don't you think? Theres always time and money for doing something else besides Islam!!! When doing something for Islam it takes alot of time and effort and scheduling. But for anything else..it's almost instant! We must try to change our attitudes inshAllah..for our own benefit. :)

Benefit of ozone gas at Dawn (fajr)

Besides the amount of rewards we would get from waking up for Fajr prayers, what benefit does waking up at that time (dawn) have on our body? Did you know, that the highest proportion of ozone gas (O3) in the atmosphere is registered at dawn. Thereafter it starts to fade away and completely disappears by sunrise.

What does this ozone gas do to us? This gas is very important and beneficial for our nervous system as it vivifies the brain and energises the muscles such that when a person inhales the beautiful breeze at dawn, known as the SAABA wind, they will experience a pleasure that is unparalleled at any other time of day or night.

Amazing right? Now why would anyone want to miss out on this great benefit! That will benefit us in this life and the next! Wow mashAllah, lets not miss out on these beautiful bounties Allah has given us! So lets set our alarms, and get ready to awaken our mind and body!!

Who wouldn't want Paradise?

Paradise.. Jannah..Heaven! It seems like a dream...but its reality! Just as we were born...there comes life..then comes death..followed by the eternal life! Now, tell me, who wouldn't want eternal life...not only life..but happiness?? Here we are in this temporary world, which comes along with sadness, happiness, anxieties, stresses and all sorts of ups and downs, and in which we live in for only about 70yrs or 80yrs if were lucky. And what is our purpose of living this life?? How often do you think about it during a typical day? Is it always at the back of your mind that at the end of the day, everything you do will be judged by Allah...who will then make the decision of whether we should go to Paradise or Hellfire based on our rewards and sins. Just as we would study so much until our brains pop to ace an exam, we should do the same for the best reward we could ever have..eternal happiness! And when you really think about it..its not so hard! We have the instructions and guidance all in the Quran and Sunnah.

Its like having an open book test! Now thats not so hard! Not only that, but if we follow the Quran and Sunnah, it will benefit us both in this world and the next! Alhamdulillah! Allah has given us everything..he has given us another day to live..to do good..given us another chance to gain Paradise! Imagine having an open book test and given the chance to do it until a certain date..in which the mistakes we did the previous day is erased if we make it up by doing really good in something else. This is what this life is all about...even if we make mistakes, we can ask for forgiveness and Allah the Almighty is Al-Ghaffar (the Ever Forgiving)!

Now, let me give you an insight to what Paradise is like ( only the tip of the iceberg..and nothing our human mind can even imagine!)

When Mu'min will enter into Jannah, it will be announced

Mothers rights in Islam

Ok..so here I am, looking through my facebook events..and I come across an event called "Bring my children back". It was an event to bring back a well known Muslim mother's 3 beautiful daughters, who were taken by their father to Algeria without their mother knowing anything as they have been separated for 6 months.

These stories make me so upset. Islam isn't an oppressive religion to women (mothers, daughters etc). A mother has a right over her children and it is clearly written in a Hadith narrated by Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): “A man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said:
‘O Messenger of Allah, who among the people is most deserving of my good companionship?’ He said, ‘Your mother.’ He asked, ‘Then whom?’ He said, ‘Your mother.’ He asked, ‘Then whom?’ He said, ‘Your mother.’ He asked, ‘Then whom?’ He said, ‘Then your father.’” (Reported by al-Bukhaari, 4/13, and Muslim, 2548).

So what makes this supposedly practicing Muslim father think he has the right to take his children away from the most important person in a child's life, their mother! There is a big misunderstanding out there that whatever a man says goes. Islam has given rights to both genders. And no one is more supreme than the other. Everyone is equal and is judged by their piety. As most people know, "Paradise lies under the feet of the mother". Is this man trying to take away Paradise from his children? A mother has gone through all the pain of carrying the child for 9 months and long labour and it doesnt end there. Why are there still people out there who think that Islam is just about 1 gender? How dare he feels that he has the power to take away the children! Does he think that he is more supreme than Allah ?(Astaghfirallah!). Or maybe he thinks that those Hadiths and Quranic verses don't apply to him.
Imagine what those children feel, hundreds and thousands of miles away from their mother, the one who raised them. I can't even begin to imagine what life would be without my mother! The most important role model in my life! Imagine how the mother would feel, it would be like a part of her is missing! She was the one that fed her children, bathe them, clothed them, read to them and taught them things they didn't know, she is closely bonded to her child!
Well I can't judge, but I will make Dua that 1 day InshAllah Allah will make this man understand!

What it would be like inside a muslim hospital! With muslim nurses!

A muslim hospital?

Aha! I have my first question I would love to get feedback on...what do you think of a muslim nurse/doctor?? Do u think more muslims should get into this profession and maybe one day..who knows..open up a muslim hospital?? Ok..so some people may be thinking whats the difference between the muslim hospital and a normal hospital...well..you see..at times of sickness muslims feel they want to get closer to Allah (God)..and from experience when I visited the hospital there isn't much privacy and the radio is on 24/7..not to mention the Christian station particularly...at this point in time muslims would want to hear Quran which psychologically has a great effect on their wellbeing..it makes them feel at ease and peaceful.
So...think about it..if we opened up a muslim hospital, all the beds would face the Holy Ka'bah, and we would have wash basins near each bed..and when they want to make wudhu they just call the nurses and the nurses would help them make wudhu.
There would be Dua's in nice frames up on the walls..Quran and nasheeds playing all day and all night long..maybe a nice tasbih on the little drawer beside them as well as a Quran...maybe someone who comes in to talk about Islam..especially in the pediatric ward for the teenagers on topics such as youth in Islam and nasheed bands could come in once in a while to perform! And they could have Islamic activities such as Islamic crossword puzzles or quizzes during the day if the patient is not so sick! Muslim women nurses could attend to the muslim women patients and vice versa...the nurses could remind them to make dua before they eat...and before they sleep...ok...so maybe I am getting carried away!! But from my opinion..I would love to see a muslim hospital being open in a non muslim society...with the best muslim doctors and nurses and other health professionals!!!
